About Me.

The Illinois Army National Guard has allowed me to attend College 100% Tuition free. I was able to work full-time as a General Manager for a fitness facility and attend College as a full-time student, all while serving in the Military. The Illinois Army National Guard is the only branch of service that gives you the freedom to continue growing and developing as a person.

Education / Military

2023 - Present

M.S. in Digitial Marketing

Northern Illinois University

Digital marketing provides students with coursework covering topics such as marketing fundamentals, digital advertising, social media management, content creation, data analytics, and mobile marketing.

2016 - 2019

B.S.Ed Physical Education
Northern Illinois University

Physical Education (PE) provides students with a comprehensive understanding of human movement, fitness, and sports, focusing on promoting health and physical activity.

2016 - Present

Illinois Army National Guard

Serving in the Illinois Army National Guard for the last eight years. I joined as a 24-year-old that was attending college as a full-time student. The job that I selected was a Cavalry Scout and I am now a full-time recruiter in the National Guard.

The National Guard traces its roots back to colonial militias formed in the American colonies during the 17th century.

American Revolution

During the American Revolution, colonial militias played a crucial role in fighting for independence.

Formation of State Militias

Each state was responsible for organizing and maintaining its militia forces to address domestic and external threats.

Militia Act of 1903

The Militia Act of 1903 transformed state militias into the organized militia, later known as the National Guard.
